The Paper Boat – a very simple, yet very meaningful mascot of PAP. For us, it is the symbol of creativity and freedom. Like our mascot, PAP is always on its way, letting the waves take us to new destinations filled with opportunities and stories.
Dear Readers,
This year marks a significant milestone for us here at PAP – THE BRAND. As we celebrate our 25th anniversary, we reflect on a journey filled with creativity, and innovation, that aligns with years of significant achievements in various fields.
Over the past quarter-century, we have specialized in communication design for top brands, blending graphic and interior design, film editing, 3D product modeling, and copywriting into seamless campaigns that flow from initial sketches to final production. Since our founding in 1999, we’ve prioritized aesthetics and quality, forging enduring relationships with renowned brands through our unparalleled end-to-end management. As the lead agency of OMEGA Watches Germany, we’ve set industry levels high with standout collaborations at global events like the Olympic Games, underscoring our commitment to delivering excellence on the world’s biggest stages.
Our recent achievements highlight the PAP Team’s dedication. We are proud to be an award-winning agency, with accolades that include the German Brand Award 2023, the Red Dot Award 2023, and the German Design Award 2024.
However, this year, we are also celebrating alongside some of the most influential advancements and innovations that have shaped the past 25 years. Just as we have been a part of transforming the visual landscape, so too have these milestones revolutionized the world:
Dior J’adore: Launched in 1999, this fragrance by Christian Dior became one of the brand’s most iconic and best-selling perfumes, known for its luxurious and sophisticated scent.
The Matrix: Released on March 31, 1999, this groundbreaking science fiction film directed by the Wachowskis introduced innovative special effects and a unique visual style, including the famous “bullet time” effect.
Burj Al Arab: Opened in 1999, the world’s only “seven-star” luxury hotel was designed by Tom Wright of WKK Architects. Its distinctive sail-shaped silhouette and opulent interiors make it one of the most recognizable landmarks in the world.
Sony Aibo’s RoboPass: In 1999, Sony introduced the first model of AIBO (Artificial Intelligence roBOT), known as one of the first consumer-level robotic pets capable of walking, playing, and responding to voice commands, pioneering entertainment robotics and AI.
Introduction of the Euro: On January 1, 1999, the Euro was introduced as the official currency for 11 European Union countries, initially in electronic form, with physical banknotes and coins introduced later in 2002.
Salesforce: Founded in March 1999 by Marc Benioff and Parker Harris, Salesforce is a leading cloud-based software company specializing in customer relationship management (CRM).
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our clients, partners, and team members who have been crucial to our success. Here’s to celebrating 25 years of achievements, and looking forward to many more!
Thank you for being a part of our story.
Warm regards,
The PAP Team
